About-UsAlwin International School at Padappai is a dream school of our Founder Chairman . It is located in the heart of Kancheepuram district at the outskirts of Chennai metropolitan city, Tamilnadu, India. OPEN DAY MEETINGS:

The school management deems it necessary for all the parents to attend these open day meetings.Parents can send their views and offer suggestions to the Principal, at least two days prior to the meeting and appropriate response/reply will be made during the meetings.

Evaluation is based on the guidelines prescribed by CBSE (New Delhi) for the assessment of skills,knowledge and understanding,

Weightage for Promotion(Std I – IX)

The whole academic session is divided into two terms.
Annual Exam : 80%
Internal Assessment : 20%

Out of which
Pen – Paper Test : 10 marks
Notebook maintenance : 5 marks
Subject Oriented Projects : 5 marks
A Student should secure a minimum of 35% for Promotion.

HONOURING THE TOPPERS

honouringOne student of each standard (Std I to IX) who secures the maximum average of the two terminal exams in the year will be awarded a shield/medal and a citation in the presence of the parents during the annual day function of the subsequent year.In the event of more than one student with the same score, each one is eligible.
